Welcome to Hellifield Parish Council’s Web page.
We hope that you will find our website useful and that it helps you to find out what is happening in the village.
Our aim is to keep our local parishioners up to date with what's going on in the Parish and to inform our friends and visitors from outside the Parish about our attractions and local area.
Hellifield is a parish in the Craven district of North Yorkshire. It lies on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park and is just a stone’s throw from the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it provides a good base for walkers who can roam amongst the rolling hills, dry stoonewalls and agricultural land.
Parish Council Meetings. For the foreseeable future, meetings of the council will take place in the Main Hall of the Institute instead of the Yorke Room to allow for better social distancing. A risk assessment of the venue has been completed with strict measure put in place to mitigate the risk for those attending. The risk assessment can be viewed here.
